Overview
Sojourner Center is a safe haven from domestic violence for women and their children in Arizona. They came to our company needing a new site that streamlined the process of getting help and resources. I created a modern layout and design that conveyed information quickly.
Challenge
From the start of this project I knew I needed to provide the Sojourner Center a new website that was elegant, accessible and comforting all at the same time. Users are here seeking safety from their turbulent home lives so the site had to provide swift and critical information.
Approach
I researched local and regional women's shelters and shelters nationally. The one major thing that was lacking from all of these sites was a clear, concise path and plan to access services for the user in need. My focus was creating an obvious route to resources and safety, all the while maintaining a tone of warmth and tranquility.
